Understanding Month, Week and Day views

Three views for three different questions, not three ways of doing the same thing.

Month: how busy are we?

Month view is for a quick glance at the shape of the coming weeks, how many jobs are booked on a given day, and whether anything's unusually quiet or overloaded. It's a summary, not a place to do detailed work.

Week: what's coming up?

Week view lays out the next seven days side by side, useful for spotting gaps to fill or checking the overall spread of work before committing to a new booking's day.

Day: where the work actually happens

Day view is the only place bookings are created, moved, or blocked. Each active team member gets their own lane, plus a final Unassigned lane for work that hasn't been given to anyone yet. Every lane shares the same hours down the side, so comparing two workers' availability is a glance sideways, not a separate lookup.

On a phone, lanes are swiped between one at a time, with the tab row across the top jumping straight to any worker. On a wider screen, every lane sits side by side at once.

Moving between them

The view switcher and the forward and back arrows at the top of Schedule work the same way in all three views, so getting from a busy-looking Tuesday in Month view down to that day's actual bookings is always two taps: the day, then Day.
