A few minutes teaching TradeFlow365 how your business works, none of it required, all of it optional to skip.
The first time you sign in, TradeFlow365 offers to spend a few minutes learning about your business: what you do, where you work, who's on your team, and when you're usually available. It uses this to write better quotations, keep your diary sensible, and save you re-typing the same things later.
Nothing about this is required. You can start creating jobs immediately without touching any of it, skip any individual step, and come back later. TradeFlow365 just gets a bit smarter each time you fill something in.
Five areas, each independent of the others. Complete them in any order, any time:
You can see how complete each area is, and jump straight into any of them, from Settings → Business Setup at any time. It's not a one-time wizard, it stays there for whenever you'd like to fill in more.
On the Business step, you can paste your website address instead of typing everything by hand. TradeFlow365 reads the page and drafts your trade, operating area, and a short business overview. You review and edit everything before anything saves. If your website doesn't mention an area you work in, it's left blank rather than guessed.
The same applies on the Services step. Describe your business in a sentence or two (or let it use what you already saved) and it suggests a starting list of services to add. Nothing is created automatically; each suggestion is only added if you tap it.
Working solo and never planning to add anyone to Team? Every incomplete section on the Business Setup checklist has a “Not applicable” option. Use it and that section is marked done without needing real data in it. It won't keep prompting you about something that will never apply to your business.
The working days and hours you set on the Business step become the company-wide default. On Settings → Team, each team member shows those same days by default. Tap a day next to their name to set different hours just for them; it's marked as an override rather than the shared default. Clear an override back to nothing and they return to following the company default automatically.
Business Setup doesn't create a separate copy of anything. It fills in the same settings you'd otherwise type into Settings by hand. A business overview drafted here is the same field shown in Settings → AI Assistant; a service added here is the same list shown in Settings → Services. There's one place each setting lives, whichever way you get there.
Any of this can be changed at any time from Settings. Questions: hello@tradeflow365.com.
